University of Strathclyde is a leading international technological University that has been engaged in an extensive Capital Building Programme over the last 10 years, this programme was central to the development and delivery of a Digital Campus.
As the Capital Building Programme began to scale-up the Estates Services team were experiencing increasing difficulties managing the handover process and utilising the large volumes of Construction Handover Information as a management resource after the completion of each project.
The University Estates Services team took the strategic approach and required a Digital Project Handover File to be reviewed and approved as each project progressed to handover stage. Post-handover the Estates team have access to Fexillon application to review their Operations and Maintenance information for Facilities Management on over 15 major buildings across the campus.
